Tour and Cricket

Time: 28th January, 9:00a.m.,
Destination: International Islamic University of Malaysia,Gombak
Mission: ~Classified~
Current Location: Somewhere on the road...

It was one of the hottest days, somewhere in the depths of Gombak where the mountains are towering over small roads like giants ready to crumble you. A Mistubishi Galant cruises along the gray roads of flyovers and bridges.

Well, I went see Ehaab's uni in Gombak and play a cricket match(like Ehaab said kill 2 birds with one stone), Beleive me when i say the IIUM campus is just a preview of the Putrajaya set up, with some exceptions. Its a beautiful place with picturesque scenary and environment. Whats better than having a student of the place as my tour guide.

The Cricket match

A sport i haven't played since i got back from Perth. It was a great feeling, the scorching sun beaming down on us, screaming whenever its a catch, and running after the ball.
It didnt matter if i lost the match, just the feel of playing is enough. Which was made possible by Ehaab.
Oh, by the way, our team won the match, heh...

They were the real backstreet boys - Mark and Carlos

car pc's, get one now, click here...

I dont know if you know this, but theres a new "craze" going on around the world. Pretty interesting and got me really interested.
Its the idea of getting a working pc into the dashboard of normal car. Yup, thats it, some of you might have heard of it, i have , but not like this. In other words, you can use microsoft office, MSN messenger, burn cd's, dvd's , store files, listen to music from the hard disk of your pc. More things are getting added to this list progressively.
Its not even that pricey, a little time consuming as you need to know the basics. But at the end of the day, you'll have a pc in your car. You dont have to be a car freak to do this, a microsoft employee, actually did this to his Jeep Cherokee. He's got a video on a website. Very innovative, even after everything is set up, there is always room for some more innovation.
Well....let me know what you guys think about this idea..Check out the site below...

PAk vs INd , test match update

Ind vs. Pak test series no.2

Well, this test match proved very challenging for the Indian team, as the toss winning team;Pakistan; made a staggering score of runs for the Indians, which at the end of the day managed to somehow even out the pressure with the cost of all their players. The "dull" pitch as they say, seemed to be as boring as the expression on the umpires faces. Not allowing spinners to do their job, neither the medium and fast bowlers. The heat from the players probably overcame the cold winter of Faisalabad, as they were some intense moments between the players of both teams. As long as they didnt cross the line, this is routine behaviour for test matches , even more when both teams are under pressure. The last day after India managed to even the score looked to be an interesting one, but looks can be deceiving. The Pakistanis batted their hearts out, more like they were practising. Indian bowlers failed to achieve more than two wickets , as their opponents continued batting , automatically guaranteeing the outcome of the match as a draw.
One more test match remains in the Pakistani capital of karachi, hopefully the both teams would have heard criticism from the public. More enthusiasm, more heart, more sensible play is required for people to actually watch a test match and feel satisfied that it wasn't just a waste of time. BUT, as this is more a sport than an entertainment, lets just say, i'm waiting for ODI's....
Until more exciting news...

How to...?

To get your own tagbox or chatter box just follow the folloowing steps.

The changes must be made to your HTML of you blog, so go to your template folder in your blogger dashboard.
There you'll see a long list of HTML codes, pretty confusing at first.
Now that you have that, to get the HTML code for a chatterbox or say a polling box, you'll see on the sidebar in your dashboard a section named "blogger help", click on blogger help.

You'll see a list of options that you can do to your blog, for the chatter and poll boxes , click on "Add-ons" under Advance use.

Here you'll see a long list of add-ons you can add to your blog. For example, say you want the chatter box, then you have to click on "tagboards", here you'll get a professional explanation of what a tagboard is, read all that and you'll see you're given three links. All three are pretty goodi went for http://tag-board.com/. Here you just have to follow the instructions that follow about signing up. Get an account .

In general, eventually you'll be shown a long list of HTML coding, now all you have to do is copy this chunk of text and paste it into the HTML of your blog as i said earlier in the template section of the dashboard.

IMPORTANT: the location of the tagboard depends on where you paste in your HTML cod of the blog, HTML can be pretty confusing, look for things like sidebar or links and paste it their if you want it on the side bar of your blog.

Well thats about it. Just for better explanation, here's some screenshots.

vs

Liverpool Manchester united

For all the fans of both these teams , i welcome you, for all football fans , i also welcome you, for those who have no interest in football, pretend you have . This is the match of the season, a game that will not only be watched in the EPL region, but also here in Malaysia.

Liverpool now standing 3rd in the league , a place behind rivals Manchester United. With no losses , only draws and wins for liverpool in the previous games, the upcoming match seems to be anything but boring.
This match will take place at 16 hundred hours (uk time) at the Old Trafford Stadium on Sunday. Missing this match is not recommended. Put on some football jerseys, get some fans and head off to a place with more fans with jerseys. Then support your team ...
Check out the poll to vote...

Thats just what i did, put a speaker in my bathroom, its nothing very ingenius, just have to find a place to put a speaker where it won't get anywhere close to the water.

Well if you want more info just send me an email or post me a comment.

Click here for more info on IND PAK match

Update : Pak vs Ind

Quite a surprising match this has turned out to be, Yuvraj seemed to be lucky to have that ball within his reach as Pakistan stepped onto the Lahorian pitch in winter Pakistan four days ago.
Not letting, probably the catch of the day stop the hometown players, Inzamam probably whispered some words of wisdom into his players, as the batsmen were on blazing fire that day, obtaining a century seemed to be the same as the number of times Shoaib Akhtar threw a bouncer at the opposition. After a score which would have seemed a number a bit too far from reach. They delclared their innings and handed the batting over to the Indians.

Batting on the Indian side started off quite well with rahul and Sehwag opening. Sehwag with his non-emotional face seemed to be reading the bowlers minds. As he and his partner went on to score a close record breaking number of runs if it hadnt been for the weather. Availability of light seemed to be the problem. Looks like they won't be able to break the record if the weather goes on like this. Sehwag went on to score a double century and Rahul a century. Naveed-Ul-Hasan went on to take the wicket of Sehwag finally after a staggering 254 runs.

The match ended in a draw.
Hopefully the next two tests will bring more action.
Until then , readers will be updated..

When theres something weird in the neighbourhood, who you gonna call?
Maggie and Radha smiling away:)

Ehaab explaining his points, while Sala looks on

Bluff Reunion Surprise...

Ahh.....another reunion, another chilli's , but wait.....this ones different.
It was friday the 13th, the day before Ehaabs b'day. Happy Birthday Ehaab.
Great meet up it was...
It started on a nice sunny afternoon, infront of BSC(Bangsar Shopping Complex), beautiful cars lined up on the valet parking area, people eating at La Bodega's and Dome, with laptops on their laps. The environment was different. First there was three and then there was seven, yes,Me,Wayne and Bushfit..i mean Mushfique inaugurated BSC, then came Kaori, Maggie and Radha and Ahmed Sala.Headed over to Chilli's for something to quench our thirsts....
A few moments later arrived the guest of honour, b'day boy himself!...
The FOOD
Ok, to me this used to be the hardest part of any meet up, ordering the food, so many choices, so many pictures, haiz, but thanks our regular visits to this place, the menu has become second nature, look at it once, and order.
The Waitress
Well this time it was a waitress with no smiles, but with normal communicating skills and took our orders pretty fast without any repetitions.
The B'day Song
Chilli's has its own band for singing b'day songs, no instruments though, theses people are very talented.
The B'day Boy
Well , this guy cudnt help but feel a little "funny", about all the singing , but man it was fun, i'm sure we'd all do it again if we had to , hehe....

INDIA TOUR OF PAKISTAN CRICKET

VS

India Pakstan

This is no holiday , sightseeing tour of India in Pakistan my friends, this is the real deal.
On the upcoming test match against the two neighbouring countries, both having a long history of amazing cricket play. At 12:50 pm(Malayian Time) The pitch at Lahore will be overcome with the metal studded shoes of batsmen , bowlers, fielders and umpires from both countries. The day will begin with decision of who will bat or bowl first, this is decided with toss of a coin, only the captains from both teams will decide. This decision will also have some influence on the matchplay.

The Stadium , as usual should be filled to the brim and more with the home crowd, and some fans from India. Some key figures of cricket will be seen seated in the crowd and with the ongoing commentary on the game by former cricketeers, who will provide insight and some interesting information and comment on players and many other factors on this gentleman's game.

This time, Indian captain Dravid will face Pakistan Captain Inzamam in a clash of the titans.
With a lot of changes to the Indian team as seen from the recent test and ODI's against Sri Lanka.
Pakistan are in top form , ready to face the their counter-parts, Paksitan A having drawn the warm up match against Indians, may somehow boost some inspiration for both teams.

India,Pakistan matches ,have become very unpredictable, with the indian team an expert on that, only the performance of both the teams will say who will outdo who.
Until then, i'll leave it to the players.

More news will be updated...

Da Vinci Code

Recently started reading the Da vinci code and came upon some interesting stuff , such as "phi", most of you must have read it already know what i mean....this number termed as phi has some rather interesting and surprising connections to life in every way, be it coincidence, i think not, then there would be too many coincidences. Our body, the environment, art, and many other things are all somehow related in one way or another by phi. Just typing in the word phi in google, came up with a really good site, about all the things that are related to phi and how is all explained. check it out, click on the green "Da Vinci Code" on top of this post to go to the site or just type in phi as i did in google. , i recommend it....also recommend reading The Da Vinci Code. Heard they're planning to make a movie on it.

megamall continued....

More interesting pics from the meet up at megamall... Which reminds me of my car..as they say .there is a first time for everything..i lost my car that day, i know, it sounds crazy but i did, completely forgot where i parked it. Wasted half an hour finding it myself but in vain, sweating and swearing to my self and reminding myself the next time i'll write down the parking lot number next time..Had to go to the security guys eventually. these guys are really helpful i have to admit, told them details about my car like make , model and plate number, they dispatched search units on all floors via walkie talkie and told me to just relax and wait. Time passed, i just stood there looking at them, and them looking back,heh..finally the lovely static noise on one of thier walkie talkies alerted them, saying that they have found a red kembara. wHAT A RELIEF!!! Well i thanked them alot..heh. and went out to collect my car at the correct parking space..whew..the moral of this story is ...get your memory sharpened or carry a pen and paper b4 going to a shopping mall with a parking space bigger than a football field. neway here ae the pics..
