Return of Reporter Prith....

(I think this is how is used to go.....)

Good Evening viewers and welcome to another segment of News on 12:02pm, thats right, we give you the news just 2 minutes later than midnight.

On our agenda tonight or shall i say morning, we have a special guest, he's not with us, but he's in an undisclosed location somewhere, our sources have said, over the mountains and between the valleys of the beautiful countryland that sits next to the deep blue sea with thrashing waves and a slight pinch of monsoon in the cloud filled skies hovering adjacently to the towering oak trees of the silt filled river meandering its way through the mysterious rainforest containing the unbelieveable sights of the magnificent waterfalls, which brings us to the location.......

which still remains undisclosed...

Here comes his transmission......zzzz..zzzz.hel.lo..ssssshhh.....an..yone.....there...(static)...zz...tchtchtch...(whispers in the background)...set it up properly you idiot.......zz.zzz.zzzz.zzzzzzzz Hi this is Prith reporting live from an undisclosed location somewhere in(read above). Alot has been going on lately in this barren land with its multitude of beauty(ies).
For starters the summer is dawning and winter is waving good-bye, which can be a bad thing and a goodthing. As most people look forward to going to the beaches in summer rather than in winter(most people!).
Moving along, there has been some mass gatherings taking place in this land of the unforgotten, such as a tribal(not really) dance performance has taken place somewhere in the midst of the society, expressing unique expressions of unseen emotions.

Breaking news, all the goldfish in the vicinity of this tribe has suddenly transformed to what the locals call the "chingrimaach" or in other words prawn, most of the local scientists say its because of the weather change, but no one is for sure.
Other sources say that a med-ieval looking female has discovered shampoo and its aroma to make hair smell better.
From another reliable connection, this news came from the other side of the island, stating that the tribesmen there have discovered the use of wheels on bicycles, and just discovered that applying (front)brakes at hight speeds causes flips of the human body to take place, as stated by the source. This discovery was made possible by two famous scientists, names are still being asked by my crew, it will take some time as the language on this island is very complicated.

Carrying on, to the next section.

Science and Commerce and Winery.

Well, unfortunately, my crew has not made it back yet from the perilous track to the den of the source of the news, hopefully they will report back to headquarters soon with good news.

As for sports, the recent frisbee champion oversaw the use of unbelieveable techniques of throwing the frisbee, which could no have been done without high intelligence. The frisbee championship finals ended with no result leaving the players with scars and happy memories of fetching the frisbee from the dark black forests of the arena.

Moving alo.n..z.z...tchtchtch....sss.s......-----end of transmission------

(Back to the newsroom)

Thanks Prith,
well thats all the time we have for this edition of News on 12:02pm,
Be sure to tune in next time on another exciting and thrilling editon,
same place same time same blog...
Goodnight and Goodmorning...

Meeting at Varun's Place

A late night the day before, and waking up to the call of the handphone...
We were going to Varun's house....

Out team leader - Moazz led us to the designated bus stop, where everyone complained about how sleepy they were and how late the bus is... all in all, everyone was still sleepy..from the night before...

The bus arrived, we allgot in like school children getting in for school early morning....

Changed another bus at the esplanade but stop and took another one that would drop us off at the doorstep of Varun's house..
But that was not anytime soon... Half of us fell asleep and half of us enjoyed the sight and views of the bus inside and outside..

Once we got there, it was great...
Had some amazing food by varun's mom, ate a bit too much i have to admit, everyone was filled up with home cooked Indian food after a long time. Which is always better than the food served at the colleges.

Then played some cricket - touch cricket i think, some of the players played seriously, and some were playing to break the rules...
Played some foosball...actually played alot of foosball...

Heres Varun quenching his thirst...

After all the hardwork our team leader(Moazz)went through he needed some sleep...

Prashant - "Kya Bhai??"..In the background Ankit and Quresh playing some foosball...

The ladies of the group - Medha(sleepy),Shreosi(Boka),Nadya(looking at shreosi)...

Heres another picture at the foosball table with Moazz,Prashant and Kailash looking at the camera, everyone else amazed at the game played by Ankit and Quresh...

Alright this is the bus...and this is inside the bus...and these are seats..and on the seat is Ankit sleeping away...(I don't think he knows i took his picture...)

Heres paaji(melvinder) showing his stuff(balley balley!!) and the photographer.Well in this picture, the photographer is someone else, cant really remember who...(if anyone knows let me know)..alrigt just found out.that the photographer of the pic was none other than Nadya....How i found this out u ask??? she told me so..eheh..

Had a great time...
More coming up..

Raindrop - Past Series

No, its not snowing, would be lovely if it was though...
Along the egdes of Swan river at a time when the street lights are shining....
Remember the good ol' days....
Cherish these moments...
They only last....like raindrops.....
Enjoy them as if they were your first...
Not everyone gets showered with happiness...
Some only get raindrops, some get a drizzle and some get none....

Live your life out....wear it out...dry it out...put it through the stress test...sweat it out...dance it out...talk as you've never talked before...

The point is...
A raindrop is a raindrop until it hits the ground...all the way from the clouds down to the ground, it gets a glimpse of life, does a few backflips, and turns, sheds a few litres and ends its life as a raindrop...

Don't be a raindrop.....
Be the cloud....

First time for everything...

The air was dry, the weather was cold and the midnight moon was shining brightly down on the red Magna. The neon streetlights shining dimly on the grey streets, giving an eerie feeling. Conversation continues inside between the 4 passengers and the driver. The streets are empty, with nothing in sight except trees and houses until.....

A car is spotted by the driver, in the far corner of his eye jutting out of a street away from the street lights. As the magna passes the unidentified car, it starts rolling out of the corner and follows the Magna. With no botheration , the magna drives on, the driver is still a bit tensed sensing that something might be wrong, he keeps looking at the rear view mirror and drives slowly.
When out of the blues, red and blue lights start flashing..."Shit" everyone says....i don't know why...without any hesistation, the Magna pulls over to the side of the road and waits in the car for a few minutes. The police car at the back keeps its lights flashing. The door opens and stands outside the car in uniform and all is a police woman carrying a torchlight and something else in her hand. I roll down my window and she says "Can i see you license please?"..As if in a race, i quikly reach for mt wallet and give it to her(my license). She walks back to the police car and checks what, i have no idea, she comes back and says "This is a random breath test", she pops out the insrtument and tell me to take a deep breath and exhale until she says stop.I follow her exact instructions. A reading come on to the screen and she says "alright thats fine". I roll up the windows and exhale with relief...
She walks back to her cop car and i slowly drive off...
Conversation begins with full force again between the driver and the 4 passengers.
Everything is back to normal after my first breath test...

Quiz #2(Targeted towards Mazians,Taylorians and people who have visited kl)

pMaN

Excitement builds up, from the previous day, restless bodies are unable to sleep thinking about what is going to happen the next day...
Morning comes finally...everyones at the ready to make their moves. A meeting takes place somewhere not in the city. Present at the meeting are the products of the evolution of the steam engine, not one but two motors running.
All filled up and boarded, they navigate their axles far into the drylands of this country. Theres a saying that it does not matter where you are headed, but what you make of that journey. This journey was memorable...
A sunny , clear skies day, where the heat of the sun warmed your skin, and the tape player played random music. This organization was organized and prepared for the worst. At the destination, the pistons are commanded to stop and the soles of the shoes of the boarders hit solid earth.
The gates we passed by with "little" difficulty, looking at that for the first time, taking some moments to register that we're actually here. The architecture, the scenes, the heat and ofcourse the "soft" grass made us all a bit happy. Our heads were covered and our floor was hand woven, tress standing next to us. Others looking at us and us looking at others.

End of Part 1
What happened next was even more amazing.... but not too soon...
Try the part above, alot of clues here and there if you know where to look...
good luck.
Assignments are calling me gotta go..

Quiz #1

Priths Perthy Post -Quiz - Read the description, and then figure out the details. If you're good, you should be able to sovle it just by reading half of it.(Applicable only to Mazians and Taylorians) .

The smell of unburnt gasoline fills the air as the air-conditioning tries its best to filter out the smoke particles, but in vain. The smell, reminds the driver that smoking is bad for health, similar to sticking your mouth in the exhaust of a car with a bad engine. The driver brakes at the traffic light, observes a petrol station, with all the people filling their tanks and emptying their bank accounts at the lavishly decorated, air-conditioned convenience store in the station. The traffic light turns green, as the last of the oncoming motorists jumps a red light, the driver accelerates slowly knowing traffic light or not, there will be impatient motorists. He drives down a hill and comes to a T- junction that faces a car company, the number two in the country. With numerous number of cars parked in the front all polished and priced to attract the vulnerable customers. Car dealers seated comfortably inside waiting for that one customer to prey on like vultures circling a dead carcass. The driver stops at the t- junction and looks both ways for oncoming traffic where the cars accelerate a little more than usual, to boast their domination over the road. Being patient, the driver looks at the built in liquid crystal display clock, reminding him that he is late. Being late is alright in normal circumstances, but in his case, he cant afford to be late, as his destination demands him not to. He whispers some non-dictionary words to himself and to the oncoming cars. The driver finally get to turn, he takes a right at the junction and relaxes as he is almost at the destination. Just one more left turn, he looks for the right one, the one with the sign, having found it he turns in. The music playing in his tape player plays some hindi songs. Entering the gates, he sees familiar cars parked outside, he knows he's late. Parking is abundant, making the choice even harder. After applying the handbrakes, he gathers his bag and turns the ignition off and locks his car. Feeling the humidity hit his skin, and the smell of sweat rising through his nose, the sounds of those metallic fans buzzing like flies, he knows he has come to the right place.
